He’s created a simple inescapable piston trap made mostly of hay. Once you get a player in the pistons and make it impossible for them to get out. There’s no way for the hay blocks to be broken fast enough between piston pushes, because hay is one of the few materials in the game where the breaking speed is not affected by what tools you use. Even enchantments don’t help.
The problem is getting the player in the trap, of course. The current design requires a lot of cooperation, but FluffyDino124 says he can see scenarios where trap doors might be used to drop an unwitting player into it.
