There are no horses in console Minecraft, and because of the console players are just a little sadder than PC players. Okay, yes, you can saddle and ride a pig, but it’s just not the same man.
So what do you think this recent screenshot from the PS4 and Xbox One version of Minecraft recently tweeted by the makers of the console edition, 4J Studios, is meant to show?
That the draw distances are a lot better on the newer consoles? Yep, that’s true.
That you can make a mean recreation of The Kelpies, a famous sculpture in Scotland, on the Xbox One? Obviously. Obviously. Just look at it.
Or that just maybe we’re getting horses when the game jumps to PS4 and Xbox One?
It’s not a sure thing, but this seems like a pretty strong hint, don’t you think?
The PS4 and Xbox One versions are set to release in August.
