Huge Project Rebuilds Game of Thrones World in Minecraft

There’s fandom, there’s super-fandom and then there’s this, recreating your favorite fictional world as accurately as possible.

WesterosCraft is an ambitious project to rebuild the world from Game of Thrones in Minecraft. As you can see from the video above, they’ve got most of the major landmarks like The Wall nailed already.

Kotaku talked to the project lead Jacob Granberry, who said there are 125 active members working on the build and that the world is at about 70 percent completion, although the team is going back to some old sections and making them even more accurate.
