You Can Live in Notch’s $70 Million Mansion, in Minecraft

on

You’ll probably never own a mansion as sweet as the $70 million number Markus “Notch” Persson, creator of Minecraft, just bought. Seriously, it has a candy room, as in a room just for candy.

But before he sold Mojang and Minecraft to Microsoft for $2.5 billion, Notch gave us a tool to make our dreams a (virtual) reality. So you can enjoy Notch’s house. In Minecraft.

Of course, it’s a blockier version. There are no blocks to represent a replica of James Deans’ motorcycle or Notch’s new high-tech toilets, but it’s still an impressive and surprisingly quick effort. You can see how it measures up side-by-side in the video.

You can download the mansion here.
