The latest preview version of Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders for the GLSL Shaders Mod for Minecraft 1.7.2 almost makes Minecraft look like a different game. Fluffy clouds that cast shadows. Rain that puddles. Better torchlight. Realistic water. Better lighting generally. It’s kind of amazing.
Making this run on your PC version of Minecraft isn’t simple, but if you have the technical knowledge and a fast enough machine it might be worth it. First read the instructions and get the files for the GLSL Shaders Mod here:
