Minecraft Gamer Aims to Build Manhattan In-Game

According to Ars Technica computer science PhD student, Christopher Mitchell is aiming to build a model of Manhattan to scale in Minecraft. Mitchell has posted some of the landmark buildings he has reconstructed online. Even if he’s unable to finish due to licensing issues and the sheer scope of that which he has taken on,  what he’s done so far is a heck of an accomplishment on its own.
