Here’s a great-looking new trailer for Paradise Decay’s full-length remake of Star Wars: A New Hope.
After three years of work, only about 40 minutes are left to complete of the project. The movie is being remade mostly in vanilla Minecraft, with some custom texture work. Some of the individual sets were so complex they took six months to build.
The finished film will be available for free at http://paradisedecay.wordpress.com/. The film is set for a 2015 release, possibly in conjunction with the Star Wars Celebration event starting April 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
The one catch is, thanks to that mean old Mister Copyright, the film won’t feature sound. You’ll need your own copy of the original film to sync to it to get the full experience.
